I voted yes I would go a week ago, but forgot to post a what's up here.

It was cool to meet everyone at the last meet, and I'm down to get lost at the mystery spot!

 

So I just visited the Mystery Spot site... so I guess that some of this is outdoors. Are we a go in the case of rain?

Makes sense... guess I gotta think of a contingency plan so as to not get mud into the car... AH! A change of shoes...!

 

Well, I'm planning on going Rain or Shine. Those of you that have already PM, I'm still purchasing your tickets tonight @ 10PM. If you're not sure if you want to go because of rain, please let me know ASAP so I don't buy you a ticket.

The location is Treasure Island and the date is 1/31 (Saturday) @ 3PM sharp.

Directions: Get off of Treasure Island exit and proceed pass the entrance booth. Make a right into the first parking lot, which is a fairly open space (can't miss it). This is where we'll be meeting before we head off for the scenic route.

Once everyone shows up and makes their introduction we'll proceed towards halfmoon bay:

Over the Bay Bridge and head towards 101S.
Merge onto 280S toward Daly City
Take CA 1S toward Pacifica
Approximately 15 miles of scenic route, we'll hit Capistrano Road, which is our destination.

So far we have 13 G35's signed up to go. Some of us will also be meeting at Chef Peking in Redwood City at 12:00 on 01/31/04 to begin organizing a G35 club.

After the mystery spot, you guys who wanna meet up in Half Moon Bay, at the restaurant, are more than welcome. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what time we'll be there. I assume around 5:00 pm would be a good guess. If you need more info, check out the G35driver forum and feel free to post.

Hey Rie...Brian convinced me that I should go, so that we could have at least 3 SB's there. They look terrific in the rain! The mud up the side kind of looks racy. Anybody coming from north of the bay? We could meet?

Glad to see that you're gonna be able to make it there fowlman! I was originally planning to wash the car on Friday night, but the forecast says it's going to rain... guess that makes me the dirty SB of the bunch.

If you don't find anyone going down the northbound way, you could meet up with the EBayers at Union City (Krispy Kreme). You were originally going through SF, right? Well, save yourself $5 toll, and only spend $2 by going through Richmond Bridge... meet up with us in UC by 10am or so (so early ).

Forcast says cloudy for fri-sat right now. So long as it does not say rain I will be detailing my SBZ. But not sure if I will do it friday night or saturday morning... Hmmm

 

Meeting you guys in UC sounds good. 10am is no problem for me. How long do you think it will take me to get there from Santa Rosa? And where is Krispi Creme in UC? If you have an address I can punch it in, but I would rather get directions because that chick in the nav tends to send me the long way around. That thing in the computer that I thought was hackers that we were talking about is that terrible virus/worm that just hit.(mydoom).

When I saw the news, I immediately identified the virus as the hacking activity that you were telling me about today. Hope that your systems are clean...

If someone here doesn't get you the UC address to KK, I'll post it tomorrow. I've never been there either, and I'm not too familiar with UC myself. I'm thinking that from SR to Larkspur is about ~30-40 minutes without traffic, and from Larkspur to the MacArthur Maze is about ~25-30 minutes (traffic to the Maze is normal), from there to UC... I have no idea. I've only passed UC on my way to San Jo and I never really calculated the time... although I think that it is a fair ways away.
