Well finally went to court today to appear in front of the judge on my smog violations from "the night". I had gone to visit the clerk on the date originally written on the ticket (Dec 11)- I had the option to pay $187 or to come back to the court in Feb and go in front of the judge.
Spent a total of 10 minutes in the court room and all charges were dismissed no questions asked. Total court fines = $0 (not even administration fees). Total cost for the incident = $30 for BAR ref smog check.

Congrats Jason! I have mine on Feb 20th to settle my run-in w/ the Santa Clara Sheriff fro CVC22350 and no front license plate. I found more discrepancies on the ticket. Wish me luck.

 

I just did that on monday... fixed my no plate ticket... didnt have to pay $10 for admin. fees... (blamed it on DMV... hehe) I had the Santa Cruz Cop sign it off last Sat.
