A week later and the fires are still going but about 90% contained and we are actually getting some rain right now...supposed to be for 4-5 hours. Probably won't put fires all the way out but close. Saw this on our news site.....I've seen so many pics of burnt out cars...but this one hits close to home.

UGGGGH. Good to hear the rain has arrived as per the weather reports. The containment numbers up your way ARE encouraging.

Wish it would rain down here. The Bear fire up in our hills is being particularly stubborn apparently.

 

What's the latest status reports on the fires? Looks like more rain this weekend, but are the fires well and truly under control?

 

I believe all the fires were contained and pretty much out as of 10/31.
