I would set one up, but my uplink is so pathetic that it is barely usable even as of now without a server.

 

Exact same situation for me... I have the equipment (just have to tweak my current home network Linux changes for max security as a Web server), but my supposed 384K to 1.5Mb d/l stream just isn't... so forget about an u/l stream...

Anyone else have a good line at home for hosting?

 

Lessee ... Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, Kimagure Orange Road, Marmalade Boy, Record of Lodoss Wars, Legend of Galactic Heroes, Akira, Venus Wars, Video Girl Ai, Initial D, Great Teacher Onizuka (still have to get past first volume), and these days, a friend is trying to get me into Rurouni Kenshin.

So, who's down for a Z Meet at Fanime this year (Memorial Day weekend at the Santa Clara Convention Center)?

Ahhh . . . I haven't gotten back to watch anime for a long time because once you get back into it, it's so time consuming that you just can't leave the tv. I taught an anime de-cal class at CAL for fun a few years ago. This tread is making me want to start watching again.

 

Well, okay, I'm going to fanime no matter what, because I have friends who are going there. I mostly go there to party. I just think it'd be kinda fun to have a line of Z's right in front of the Convention Center. Anybody got a Fujiwara Tofu Shop sticker?

I remember coming over to Santa Clara for their first anime con back in the early 90s... I remember it was near by a Red Lion hotel....

 

If a crew of Z's are going... I might be interested.
Usually these conventions cost a lot... $25+ and I end up never buying anything.
Wondercon would be a better thing to go to, much bigger.
