Thanks... pre-reg is closed and we're looking at $30 for the 29th... despite being an OG anime fan, I've never been to one of these fan fests. Is there a good hentai collection at these types of events (answers to this greatly influence my ability to go )?

They usually have a lot of everything... even Hentai...
I'm down for any day also... 29th is cool.
I really hate that $30 entrance fee... I think you also have to pay for parking also.

Well, the $30 is only to get into the rooms. Since the con is actually being held at the convention center, there are areas that are accessible to the public. I personally plan to find out when my friend is going to be spinning, and go to the dance. And no, parking is not pay parking. You could just park outside the convention center, off Great America Parkway.

I'm open all weekend. I'm planning to be there on Friday night to go boozing, and possibly Saturday night, too. As for the con part itself, I'm down with Sunday.

I have a graduation to go to on Saturday, so Saturday is bad for me also.

Sunday is good.

Any plan on a meeting point? Just show up at the Convention parking lot?

Noonish to get some lunch, then hit up the con?

Maybe lunch at Gordon Biersch, since it's only a 10-15 minute walk from the Convention Center?

Gordon Biersch sounds good...

Any idea on a meeting place before lunch?
Do we want to park the Z's together?
or should we just all meet up at the front of the Con?

I'm not that super familiar with the San Jose area.

It'd be hard to park together since there will be lots of con goers, but there are usually a few good places near the convention center. One particularly conspicuous parking lot is the one on Market and San Carlos. Also, some lots may be free parking on Sundays. Worth checking out.

Cool Cool...

So I guess we could all meet up at the convention around noon?
The Spot: Front of the convention center.
From there we could decide what to do next.

List so far that's going... The ones that have replyed recently...

1. Sybertron
2. longbowe
3. Fisherprice
4. zuddenly

If anyone else is down, come on out.

I ended up watching some Korean movie at fanime. Sybertron went to the dealers' room. Thanks for showing up though, both of you. Sorry I wasn't more organized, but there will always be other meets.
