well, the reason im mad is that i suspect that if it wasnt "noticeable" he wouldn't have told me... cuz when he came to tell me he was like i "think" i hit your car and its "noticeable"... so, there maybe dings on my car that arent "noticeable"...

damn dude... that sucks....
same thing happened to my itr but it wasn't a friend....
I collected from their insurance but I never fixed it. If the paint is okay you could leave it and say that one time you engaged in a heated dorifto-batteloo with some bozo and you out drifted him by making contact with the wall and then you 180'd to a halt and everyone started to chant "ZUD-DEN-LY! ZUD-DEN-LY!" ... and the other guy went home crying.

last time i went dorifto .... i dorifto into a tree in my 240sx... let's just say i know exactly what lift-throttle oversteer is... oh well, at least i'm gonna get some dough for this... (help get me some new rims instead haha...) and i'll just wait awhile before i fix it... some parts of the paint are gone tho ...

It would've been a whole lot worse if you didn't know who it was and you had to go through insurance to fix it... and at least your friendship is still intact. But I sincerely feel for you though... (I know that the previous statement was much easier said since it's not me that is involved... ).

I gots me one of those... only mine was a Hit-And-Run!
Almost the same area too.
I was at Hillsdale Shopping center, and when I got back to my car... there it was. I felt so helpless...
I was quoted $700 to fix it. Oh... from Nissan.

I still haven't fixed it, just cleaned it up and touched it up...

I feel your pain... at least you know who did it.

Andersen Behel in Santa Clara is great for fixing Zs. There was my Redline, a Silverstone, and Sunset all there. Everyone have rear bumper work and it matched better than the factor in my case. I paid to have my rear bumper repainted out of pocket because of the cheap Nissan paint ( could see through the red to the black bumper on the edges!).

How much did they charge for repainting the bumper at Andersen Behel in Santa Clara? My front after 23K in 10 months has been chewed through by rocks.

ugggghh! - I feel your pain; mine was backed into a little over a month ago... Just be sure to take it to a reputable shop - don't let insurance companies fix it on the cheap...
Good Luck.
