Argh! I hate when it becomes "noticeable". I've got me one of those, too, from a hit-and-run in downtown SJ. Even posted about it back when. I still haven't taken care of it, although if anyone can recommend a good place for a minor touch-up, I'll just do the fender. Oh, and who's got a dent removal tool? I got a ding while in mountain view, parked at the side of a street, even longer ago than the noticeable hit-and-run.

I got a ding at a Z meet. That's all I'm going to say about the matter

Here's Beaker's DIY dent remedy...

okay, i got 2 quotes... one for the more affordable, fix it job... $1400, the other is the replace everything job... $3200... which one do you guys think i should show my friend...i think $3200 isnt unreasonable, because paying $1400 doesnt calculate in the trouble i have to go thru and the fact that i have to rent a car for a week while my car is out... wat would u do?
i went to a really good shop, and that's why its a little pricey... only the best for my baby.

That's pretty big! And on the curve of the tire well too. I don't think so. Besides, that thing will only make things better, not go away. The first thing i'd do is get the dark paint off of it and see what i'm dealing with.

Man that sucks! The same thing happened to me over a year ago when my car had just hit 100 miles. Luckily, there weren't any dents, but just paint scrapes, which wasn't that bad after some touch up paint. One more thing, the car was parked and a lady hit it so insurance gave me money, which I still haven't used
