Went to L-S yesterday to watch some friends race in Porsche Club events and the last event of the day was tandum drifting through turns 1, 2 & 3.

The first pic is of a 350Z and an S2000 on the first run together.

 

This pic is on the 3rd run. The S2000 spun in front of the Z. OUCH...pretty bad ending

 

Here's another Z against a Supra. This Z only lasted one round...blew a tire.

 

There was another SS 2 rows behind me in the field parking lot #1. Are you here?

The one that blew his tire is Chris Forsberg, local my350z.com screen name TopicsII. Driver for Motorex.
Sad to hear his day ended so soon. He was at Formula D in Atlanta and placed second.

argh, i went on the wrong day! i went today, and there was no drifting, and really hardly anyone there

 

which event was this? the less ppl there, the better.... no one hogging track space

 

porsche club america was racing & super karts

 

On Saturday they also had some old stockers, Formula Ford and Miata cup.

Zuddenly: It wasn't an open track.

 

i think about driving too much....

Sweet pics zwind... I know that I'm missing out on a lot by not being able to attend every meet/show, but I'm glad that I'm not completely out of the loop

 

The are going to have drifting at Infineon the early part of July. (7-8?)

 

You could be right. From my vantage point it looked the other way around. It was a long day and I was looking into the sun
