Default Good body/pt shop in S.J.?

Hello South Bay Z enthusiasts/owners. I live in the Central Valley but still have strong ties to the San Jose area. Can anyone recommend an excellent body/paint shop in S.J.? After 16 months of commuting on 152 in my Z, I acquired the typical gravel chips on my soft front end (multiplied hundreds of times - ouch). That's the cost of procrastinating on the clear bra. Anyway, if they do bodywork and clear bra installation too, that would be great. Shortcut3d recommended Andersen Behel in S.C. on zuddenly's thread (thanks shortcut). Are there any other suggestions? Thanks!

Ask for Tino and tell him Courtney sent you. It does help much but he may hook up a free detail/polish. Then get a rental from Hertz for 19 a day. Ask for Albert at Hertz if you don't get that deal.

I have one more shop for you.

City Body Repairs, Inc.
408-292-4868

I think they may even be better than Anderson-Behel. Jaguar dealers have all their work done at City Body Repairs.

The guy was really reasonable when I told him I wanted the back bumper repainted out of my own pocket.

d0h! I forgot.

For anyone: make sure you use a bodyshop in the Certified First Network. Always ask about paint warranty. Sometimes you can find a shop that carrys a warranty longer than the factor warranty (Anderson-Behel is limited lifetime).

White Oaks Auto Body
1.408.371.9112
1436 White Oaks Rd. # 11
Campbell CA 95008

This is my friend Marins shop. He has worked on my Z, his own Z, and there is also a Brickyard Z there right now. Does great work.

He also does all of the work for Los Gatos Ferrari/Bently. That's gotta say something.

Talking

there are 2 good quality body shops that I would highly recommend.

1)Williams Auto Body I believe they are located in San Mateo. They are very resonable in price and do a lot of z's from 240-350Z as well as a lot of a 240SX's lately..

2) Michael J's Auto Body in San Jose,CA they are bit pricey but back up their work if you go their tell them Yuichi sent you, they are locataed off of Almaden Road in San Jose
