well i swung by today and took a look at whats done so far. the engine is done and up and running the kit is rebolted on and is running with my stock cat, the only prob is that my body kit cracked yesterday in the oven so i have to wait another day. other than that the exhaust (lambo ) needs to be adjusted when i do get the rear bumper back. chris at sp is working on it and i should be able to pick it up 2maro
so our meet in monteray will be just in time! well a few weeks lol
so i went with the TN kit that i already had we will see the #s 2maro after the kit is put on and tuned.

I say remove Tommy's Autobody. They did a **** up job on my BMW and my Z. BMW had to be repainted 3 times and my Z is on its 4th repaint and its still
there after almost 2 months for just a paint job.

 

Can you add another bodyshop? I have had good experiences with this one. If anyone wants details about the shop you can pm me but I can definitely say that they do good quality work in a good amount of time

I had to go back twice. They said those are just tiny bubbles in the tint because its not factory and its aftermarket. wtf! Stay well away from that place. They had 2 new cars from a dealer a RX-8 and S-500 with some messed up ish too. Especially, the rear windows.

HI everybody. Need a referal to a body shop in the San Jose area. I got hit by a unsured DUI driver Saturday night. Right now I'm considering DHT, B-Line, and SCD collision. Anybody have first hand experience with these shops?

 

Hahaha. I think I saw you in there today. I was the one in the brown coat talking to Kin about putting a set of GT-Ss on my car. You were talking to some dude with his (good looking) girl about getting some AEM pulleys on his Automatic Civic.

That was my first time there and I was just really shopping around for wheels, but couldn't resist just getting it done when Kin said he could do my car today. Turns out you guys are out of tires, so I'm bringing my car in Monday. Treat my baby well, Wilson.

 

I think we need an "Unofficial Bay Area Automotive Shops to AVOID Directory"

I for one would list Golden West Autobody in Sunnyvale. They sound like they care, until you have them do the work for you. Before you take it in its "We can make that look just like new" after its "well that conforms to auto industry standards" even though it does not look like new.

Now I need to get estimates to make it really "Look like new", what a total waste of time.
