Talking Dyno Results!

Okay, I just got back from ATP. They dynoed the car in 4th gear and the highs are:

251.1 HP 233.2TQ

I didn't dyno my car stock, but they had a stock 350Z baseline dyno on file. A stock Z dynoed at 230HP, I forgot the TQ #'s. Although it is not my car, if I use that dyno, I gained 21HP with my mods.

Oh, forgot to mention, numbers are SAE corrected and 251.1 was at 6500 RPM's.

Nice Lou! Now all you have to do is get that shiny new exhaust, and sell me your Borla!

Whoa, nice numbers, this was the best of three pulls?

Yes, it was the best of three pulls. The others were close though. My first pull was 249.8, which had me worried, because my goal was to get in the 250's. I had to jump on the DC headers from Summit so I will re-dyno after those are installed. I am very curious whether or not headers will make that much of a difference. Either way, you couldn't beat the price. 365.90 shipped. That is about 1/4 the price of the Crawford headers (which are the ones I wanted) But I can't imagine that the HP numbers would be significantly different.

Hey neur0sis, I am still waiting to hear a couple of different exhausts. So far, the Borla is still my favorite.

My torque numbers are probably a little low because of my Borla exhaust. If you look at the SportZmagazine exhaust shootout, Borla gained the most HP but the lowest TQ. (I am not including the 5Zigen because it just didn't perform at all)

Just wait to see my torque curve when I finally save enough money for a supercharger!
