Dolfan13: That's one loooong drive. At least 100 miles up Hwy 1 from Bodega Bay. With slow weekend traffic you're looking at 3+ hrs one way. Nice drive though on a weekday

 

UM like I said, alwayZ down to drive but um sonoma is far far from my land, and can I be um Frodo

 

Yeah, we should probabally make a new thread... but Im not sure I want to coordinate this one... I didn't have much luck with my Dyno Day...

 

Don't give up. The dyno thing is kind of unique and cost money. It also seemed a lot of people were busy then as they are this month. After the 7/4 holiday, say the 10th, might be a good time. Chances are it would be a small group from this area (Sonoma/Napa) only and those that are familiar with it.

Might want to check the road conditions of the routes you selected anyway. Possibly pic a route a little more southeast so it's not quite so far a drive for the others. There are some nice roads out by Lake Berryessa and off 29 in Napa county. Of course they won't match the vineyard and coastal beauty of northern Sonoma

 

Definatly. I'll see if I can whip up some sort of route. I thought about a Berryessa drive, so we could all stop at the lake and take some pics with the lake as the backdrop.

I'll look this weekend, and possible go drive some routes and try and come up with something.

 

Maybe we should do this after the Formula D thingy on 7/11?

How about the Union hotel in Occidental...This is alot closer and the food was not that bad. There are a lot of back roads and small towns. Very pleasant drive.

 

I live in Santa Rosa, and I am out on these roads all the time. Sign me up if there is going to be a meet.
