anyone up for a mini meet at Infineon 7/21 ????????

 

I'm down. I finally broke in my car and the mods will be in this weekend so, I will be there.

 

Great! We will see if we can raise a little hell with the Z's. I will check in with you as it gets closer. I usually try to get there by 3 or so. that way you can get in a fair amount of runs before dial in.

 

Ill be there! Ive gone so many times now why not go again. Im telling you though if i get beat by another mom in a wagon im giving up on bracket racing! hahaha

 

Since this would be my first run, what do I need to bring and how does it go ?

 

Bring $20 for entry fee, a bottle of white shoe polish or you can borrow mine. Since it is your first time out you probably will not need a helmet.

You have to turn sub 14.000 for that to be required. The tech guys have told me that I have to wear one next time out, so I will have one if necessary. I think Josh has one too.

The Z can run in one off two classes. Go for the Sport Street class, that way you won't have to compete with the V8's....although you could beat most of them.

Josh and I will help you out and tell you which mom's with stationwagons to look out for.

You might have to give someone a 4 second head start when they start eliminations. I think it is fun trying to run them down....

I'm down to go. Just got the Z two months ago and ready for some fun at the track. Any south bay people wanna meet like in Fremont or somewhere and drive up together? Maybe around 1:30-2pm?

 

JoshTreeFity and I are here in Rohnert Park. Do you want to roll up together Josh? I leave SSU at 2:30 usually.

4 - Z's so far and maybe a stray or two going that are not on the board. That is a good start. Hopefully we can put the fear into the soccer moms

 

Is anyone planning on bringing their vid cams ? if not should i bring mine ? I have never been to one of these so i dont if i will even have time to film others...

 

If it is not too much trouble, bring it. There are sometimes opportunites to get another Z or yours if we can time it right. I'm bringing a still camera.

Id be down to meet for sure but i work in novato and i get off right at 230 on wendesday (the boss lets me leave early to race every wednesday! ) So i usually head right to the track just get there right at 3 so we can get hella runs before elimination. Hope to see alot of Zs out there!!!

Nice boss!! My boss doesn't know I race on some weds. He wouldn't care though, I'm kinda on my own here.
I will be at Infineon at 3. I try to get three runs or more by 5.

 

I live in Novato so I should be able to meet up with JoshTreeFity before I head up to Napa.

I get off work at 1PM and commute back from San Ramon so I should be at my house around 2:30 or so.

 

If you want starman... you could meet up with us in Novato and head up to Napa all together.. while at it.. fowlman wanna meet up in Novato ?

Yes, and if you bring someone it will cost $10 to watch. I head over the back way, but let me see if I can get off a little earlier and drive to Novato. I will know by Monday. I can come and go as I please, but I may have something I need to take care of Weds and will not know until Monday late.

 

I'll just meet you guys at the track, that will be easiest. I'm sure I'll be able to find you.

PS. How do they determine who you race and when? Is there some kind of parking lot / staging area where people hang out waiting to go?
