Dave, I thought you were rooming with your bro?

In any event, I'd be willing to split the room. I can take the floor, I don't really care.

Actually I'm a little hesitant to stay at Amerihost again. Last time we went I walked into my room for the first time and it smelled like someone just got done smoking in there. I looked in the bathroom and there were a bunch of cigarettes in a cup in the bathroom.

I was like WTF? So I went and got another room. I think the hotel employees were partying in there like 10 min before I walked in.

I may need to crash on your floor if I can't find anything.

Need to talk to Rob, but I think we may be leaving around 1pm on Wednesday. I'll post details on the caravan once we figure it out.

ok, it looks like this event is just about here. I'll see if I can find a hotel somewhere, if not, I might just drive up on the day and be a spectator.

Hey I forgot to ask this. What kind of brake pads should I get for an event like this? I'm guessing my stock pads will not make it through an event like this correct?

stock pad should be fine if this is your first event. Most of the time you will just be amazed at what your car can do in stock form.

btw, what's everyone's plan on Wed? who wants to caravan up?
I have Wed off so can go anytime during the day. I guess to make it for dinner, we should probably leave sometime early afternoon.

I'm working til about noon, but I will be packed and ready to leave immediately after.

Sean, are you looking at getting pads specifically for track use or pads for both street and track?

For track only, people have recommended Hawk HPS Plus (I've heard these squeak a lot tho).

For street/track, Hawk HPS.

If it matters, I plan on tracking with my stock pads.
