Shift_norcal window sticker... *ideas*
Well, I know this has been talked about ... and even recently when Henry decided to dig up a really old thread ...
I would still like to entertain the idea of some sort of (small) window vinyl sticker ... ideal location in the back quarter windows ...
I have come up with this :
and its a work in progress ...
I would like to throw the idea out to folks ... see if it has any interest, and if anyone would sport some if I had them made.
What do you think? Please critique and be honest... its a very simple logo, and I didn't have much to work with

If you could find the original Nissan font used for "SHIFT_norcal" it would be bad a$$... I think if we were able to obtain it, we should just drop the bridge entirely. Keep it like the famous ad campaign...

I looked, and found a "Nissan" font, but its not the same as in the ad campaign... If anyone has an larger example, post it up... I'll see if it can be re-created.
Oh, and it was going to be in white, so it would stand out on the window ... I just can't design white on white. When it gets cut into vinyl, I'll specify white vinyl...
lets make this happen, and I'll see if it can be done for cheap before the meet!

Here is the closest I can come to the nissan font, used in that ad campaign ...
Its mostly an Arial font, with a modified "S" in the front. I used this page ( http://www2.nissan.co.jp/SHIFT/splash.html ) as a reference.
Whatta think?

Well, I can have a 2 color vinyl decal made, but they are WIKKED expensive.
A single color, white, on the window was what I was looking for...
maybe I'll just scrap the idea... :\

the two color vinyl stuff I have been quoted is like, $5 each, for min 50 qty.
Unless ...
We could get the "SHIFT_" part as a single color RED vinyl sticker ... and then get the "norcal" as a seperate single color, WHITE vinyl. Those are like $1.45 each, 100 qty min ...
I'll have to confirm these prices, as they were word of mouth. I was also going to talk to Walt (you reading this ) and see if he had any connections...

Cool. For reference, I am designing this as a simple Vector Graphic (Illustrator EPS) , so the print/die cutting process should be simple, and no file conversion needed.
