Default Feeler: 2005 Tokyo Auto Salon

I'm in talks with a travel agent regarding 2005 Tokyo Auto Salon and want to know how many people are interested. The trip runs from January 11 - 16 / 2005 (actually days in Japan will probably be 4/5 days). The trip will include Airfare, hotel + breakfast, transportation, tour guide, and 2005 Tokyo Auto Salon VIP pass. Plus, will have meeting with Tokyo auto vendors. It'll run around $1,350 - $1,450 (price TBD) base on double occupancy. I need to know by end of next week on how many ppl are interested so I can set things up.

List:

1. Bz8
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Can't we all just get along?... we will probably sleeping. If not, consider it free entertainment.

I'm very interested in this as well.

I'm curious also if it would be even possible and what the lowered cost would be if we choose not to have hotel accommodations, just flight and passes to the Tokyo Auto Salon.

Anyway, my confirmation will also depend on DINERO.. I could get cheapo rims with that kind of money

Tony, I'm the same as Lou... Too early to confirm, but totally interested!
It's right after the Holiday's and that usually means shortage on the fundage... And that is like the next week back from vacations... I wonder if I have enough PTO for it...
I'll let you know before your deadline.

Sorry Anna, it's the whole deal package. Trust me, it would be alot more if you get hotel on your own. Plus, the hotel in the package is at Crown Plaza a 4 star hotel. Considering the trip runs between $1,350 - $1,450, that's still pretty cheap.

I know the deadline is kind of short, but I have to book early on foreign travel to get lower rates. Actually you would have to pay now instead of later. If I don't get at least 8 to confirm at the end of this week, I think I might cancel or go myself.

I wasn't thinking of getting a seperate hotel, one of my best friends lives in Tokyo and I'm sure if she knew I was coming she'd want me to stay with her. It was just a thought, just curious
