Hey, I'm from Sac but couldn't make it out. What times did the Skyline and F/I 350's run? Looks like you all had fun!

The fastest time by the Skyline was 11.2. None of the F/I 350Z's ran faster than a 13. Street tires + F/I + Drag racing = NO TRACTION!

You need to go to one of the drag meets, but Sacto was run kind of strangely. If you were a buddy you get a run, if not you wait at the staging line for a while. maybe that was an unusual day.

More like, if you drove domestic, you ran a lot!! I guess the kids needed a job for the weekend. The management problably doens't take the "test'n tune" weekends as seriously as the competition drags. Oh well, I still had a great time and look forward the the next event with everyone.

Can we say un-organized, but they catered to Domestic cars so what did we expect. I like Infineon "not just because i work there" but they were very organized and it was a better value. However the hike up there is kinda bad, not too bad but it gets to ya.

I had only run at Infineon and they are pretty organized. They also will throw you out for some of the stuff I saw happen at Sacto. For instance I ran a sub 14 without my helmet on. I would have been out of there at Infineon.

There is also more room if you er.........say want to do donuts during your run (Lou). At Sacto you have those guards that would bounce you around like a pinball game if you bounced off them.

I would go again though. It went well when the woman took over the lane assignments.

What do you do at Infineon??

Weds nights are $20.00, but you might not get as many runs.
If you do well in the eliminations you will get plenty.

Looks like Jim Russell school is running some special prices on their courses. I am half thinking about getting my competition license again. It is still pretty pricey though.

Do they start the Weds night drags again in march?

yup......275 for the day.....rain for shine. I am waiting for the novice slots. They do have intermediate slots open if you're up to it. I have never been on a track, so I need to be in novice so I don't kill myself.

Is that at infineon on New Years day or the first week sometime? If you have a date I might go for it. I had a day on the course last March in a formula trainer, so I might be able to pull off a intermediate class.
