If you did your research you would see that auto is the better option for supras. Faster at the track and worlds more reliable. Auto is what you want. It's no coincidence that i own three auto supras.

Sorry to change the topic but you're right especially with today's auto dual clutch trannys, but if I had there was an option for manual I would pick manual over auto any day. You have more control and feel over the car. GLWS though, nice clean engine bay.

Sorry, what I meant was no matter if auto is faster or better with the supra or even sports cars of today, I prefer manual.

?
maybe we're not trying to build the fastest supra in the world...
and it's a sports car, which should be driven by a driver who wants to control the car.
manual > auto

manual > auto
Dude get out of my thread with your annoying bs, I own all of the above, stock auto, built auto, and 6 spd....so what are you gonna try to say I can't drive or something? Lol

Idc what YOU are trying to do....im selling a car, what I have for sale is what I have for sale no if ands or buts about what it could be. But from someone who knows, AUTO supras are more reliable....period. End of convo, go back to 287 furious horses of shifting Dale earnhart, maybe you can pop in another auto cars thread and say wish it was a stick or post some other useless information.

OP, if you do your research, you would find that non-built auto supras are some of the best Supras, period. Furthermore, the toyota auto transmissions from this period could handle much higher loads, than those of our Nissans, today. Most of your higher output single turbo cars are automatics. The auto tranny's were far more reliable under extreme conditions than their 6 spd counterparts.
