Sixto, that would be awesome to have your RB swap done for this show.

IT really would. Hopefully my leakdown/compression tests come out good so i won't have to rebuild anything and delay more.

WTF? I just noticed registration this year is $125 and they are doing some sort of pre-selection of cars for the show. Anyone else get the paperwork?

My guess is they want to limit it to exotic and all higher end cars.. Or maybe space is real limited.

That really sucks.

By bumping up the price and preseclecting cars only tells me thay are trying to weed out any of the cars that are not labled as exotics.

The "pre-selection" verbage was in the letter I rec'd in the mail. Like Sixto said, I believe they are trying to limit this to exotics or full out muscle race cars and custom choppers. Maybe it has something to do with age. Oh crap, I'm that old too.

I'll be a spectator, but at $125, I'm not showing. The kick off is at Ruth's Chris steakhouse. What does that tell you?

I've been thinking real hard about selling everything( body kit, wheels...etc) and going for an RB26DETT swap.

no need for a RB26, you can make this VQ haul some serious a$$...

if you do sell everything, let me know what you have in mind, i can help you out a lot when you get serious. we also are about to put a 5.6 Titan motor in my G here in the next month....

i will have pics and updates for sure..

Yeahhhhh partners in crime!!!!

I tore down my motor now. On monday i'm painting the valve covers, ordering custom oil pan, forged slugs, and rebuild gasket kit.

The bottom end will go to the machine shop probbly in a week or so depending on when i end up getting my pistons
