The 350Z Club of FL has announced that this year The Run will be on Dec. 12th. Mark your calendars so we can get a big turn out this year!


The Run is an annual charity event hosted by the 350z Club of Florida in Tampa Bay to celebrate the return of Nissan’s sports car, The Z. The 1st “The Run” event was held in September 2003, and at this year's event we will be celebrating the 7th anniversary of the launch of this magnificent machine. Those who participate will take part in a "Poker Run", along with a timed event that will be done through a predetermined course. In our Run we route a course that will be both scenic and exciting, during which all participants ensure that all traffic laws are observed. The final destination will be in the front car lot at Autoway Nissan of Brandon, with food and a huge charity raffle drawing many prizes. Don’t forget to bring extra cash for raffle tickets. Some of last year’s big ticket items were Nismo S-Tune cat-back exhaust system, Nismo Cold Air Intake, Ruff Racing wheels, and many more. Each raffle item will each have a drop box so you can pick what you want to win. Remember, there is no limit to how many you can buy. The more you enter, the better your chances.

I think I sent you the event link on facebook. When you click on the event, it should show you the photo gallery. I have a TON more pics in my "Spirited Driving" album on facebook too if you're curious. I think last year there were 105 cars that participated? Something like that.

I have a question. Is The Run's route friendly to lowered z's? What condition are the roads in that they use? I've never done the run before that's why i ask.

 

Usually it's lowered Z friendly, but there were some complaints about the one last year. They change the route every year, so you never know until you drive it.

 

No, Matt is actually a good navigator, but at ZDayz he tried to wave at a photographer with the hand that he was holding the directions in, and it didn't work out very well.

niceeeee... something similar happened with Caity and the directions in the timed run at zdayz. but no matter how you finish and whether you win something or not, it will certainly be a fun time

The route was lower friendly. My Z is pretty low and I didn't have any issues. Although I got lost a lot !

 

I might be lowered by december....
