Somewhere on nimitz i think. I've never gone myself, too much hassle. They stay open for like two hours or something.

Welcome to Hawaii! Beautiful Z you got there! Read what Ragtopz posted. The recon station is located by Kapahulu. They are quite strict and quite ***holes when it comes to Recon, but if you play by their rules, you'll be fine. Be sure you have the alignment specs of your car ready if you're lowered. They will look under your car, inside your engine bay, and inside your car. So don't be surprise if you don't pass. This happened to me when I had my Prelude Si.

I'm from Hawaii - enjoy the Island.

Here's some local driving tips:
1. Beware of the speed trap on Nimitz from Aloha Stadium to Airport.
2. Don't forget to give the shaka wave when cutting someone off.
3. Remember you're on an Island - no where to run if you **** off a crazed Samoan and if you have not noticed already - usually at 65 - 70 mph you're passing cars on the highway.

Best Plate Lunch: Lunch Wagon Kewalo Basin Parking lot - adjacent to Ala Moana Beach Park ewa enterance.

IMO, top five golf public courses:
1. Kuilima Links
2. (Sheraton) Makaha
3. tie: Ko'olau & Pearl Country Club
4. Luana Hills
5. Kapolei

yeah and ive only seen two z's since I have been here.... one in mililani...a white one.... and one on H1 going west near makakilo.....

changing from 70mph standard speed limit to 55 is interesting..... i have been catching myself doing a little more than posted..... my detector works fairly well...... do the 5-0 leave there radar guns on or do they just zap cars like laser tag?????? just curious if there is any warning time....... ive seen a lot of bike cops so far on H2

Masuda Fender & Paint Shop. 847-1958. Ask for Derrick Masuda. Tell him that Dave Wakatake referred you. If you mentioned my name instead, he may not remember.

More information on recon (Chapter 134):
http://www.hawaii.gov/dot/highways/a...s/ruleshwy.htm

Police use lasers on Oahu, don't know how much protection you are going to get from your radar detector.

punish_her,

You live up by Pearl Country Club eh?

I live down the street in the condo on the corner (right across the mall). I'll probably see you around. You see the Lemans Z up there with the wild kit? Crazy...
