who wants it...
so I guess the owner of this hypersports built Z is selling. so who wants to buy it? I think its pretty clean. I would consider it except I'd have to get a daily driver (and I don't have the parking room) since I wouldn't want to rely on such a heavily modded car as a daily driver. it is really nice though

Buy the Z06...sell it for a profit...buy the Z.
Let's just see what happens next Saturday...

Yeah, and the whole "once stolen" thing is concerning. They what, found it down at Kaiser Hospital or something unmolested. Thats the weirdest. I doubt many people steal cars for joyriding. You gotta wonder if they have since made new keys, or if they found the other key.
Drifted and once stolen
part it out haha.

So, this is the Z that was stolen once? Dang, I wouldn't want this car if no new keys were made; aside from the "drifting thing"
yeah, that whole "stolen" issue is really shady. but if they did make new keys/locks, and HSR was willing to continue sponsoring the car for maint and labor in exchange for some appearences, and you could get him to knock down the price a bit, then this would be a super deal. however if I had to choose between this and an 06 Z06, I'd probably have to go with the Z06 (given you didn't get hit with the $20k markup). frank, if you can afford it and are lucky enough to be given the opportunity to pick up that Z06, then I'd say do it.
on a side note, I spied a F430 in town last weekend. I couldn't keep my eyes off it.

I wish I can afford the C6 Z06
! This is a C5 Z06, "Garaged Queen" and < 1000 miles for $30K from a trusted owner. That's why Aloha 350Z said that it was a great deal.I would agree that if everything is legit with the Z and he can come down on the price, then it's a pretty good set up.
An F430 was in town
? Where???? I believe that there's also a Carrera GT being displayed at the Porsche dealership
!Those cars sure make the Z06 a ho-hum car huh
.
is it an 02+ Z06? those things are beasts. I guess this would be your "play" car huh? sounds like a great deal. just intake and exhaust on those things can net you 20+rwhp easily. does this one have the HUD? I love that those things.
as for the F430, I saw it Sat night on a freeway on-ramp (I don't recall which one). and it was def a F430 and not one of those rental 360 modenas, the rear (which was nearly all I got to see) was obviously different. I wish I could've caught up with the guy and snapped some pics or at least got him to rev it a bit.

I seen the F430 down at the track at our superlap events. Along with some other exotics that came along with the JN crew. Those cars were just in the wrong hands and not bringing the cars towards it's fullest potential. old guys, lots of money, weak sauce. I probabaly wouldve scared the living shiat out of them if I got to drive one of their cars...I offered but all of them were up tight. I even told them that I'm an instructor...and they just wanted to ride in my car. cheap f0ckerz!!!
That 350Z is mighty quick. I've seen in go around the track during the Hypersports private events. Impressive car. and Lanny took that car to it's potential...probably could do more with it too.

. Now taking a $200+K car down the track at it's full potential sounds exciting and fun, but rather hard to swallow. Don't you think?
