Default update on my z

so i went down to sonics. was there for a while today chatting with seth. my power steering went really bad and was smoking up because the line got fried by the turbo. so that is gonna be fixed. the pillar mount for my guages also came in today to. its gonna be home for a aem ugeo and aem truboost. the truboost for the value is unbeatable. boost gauge/control for a really reasonable price. cant go wrong. so pretty much all that goes in also getting some test pipes so my car is gonna be even louder but its nessecary for the tunning. so car should be out and running by the end of this week. tuning for 8psi hopefully shell crack the 400whp range and put out about the same amount of wtq.

EU isnt bad for that power range, you realy just need that AF stabalization modual (injector one I think). With that you can have a rock solid tune.

I have no clue when sonics will get their dyno up. Looking forward to it.

Sorry to hear about your PS man.... Well prime time to get a PS cooler

Hey RR you had the slip fit exhaust on the lamans, right ? You may want to get that changed out, I saw you had a few exhaust leaks and its kind of restrictive.

haha the exhaust is non existant. its cut off. so its just open cats soon to be open test pipes >.<. but seth told me theyve been going through a bunch of bs with contractors to put in the dyno. but seth told me they normally throw the car on the dyno to just give the customer a number. im gonna talk to seth about making sure the a/f stays within the 11s because 8psi on stock internals and no fuel return is pushing limits already. but hopefully itll all work out. haha i see you cedric. go back to your supra forums :-P. nah but i didnt know you had an acount here. lol. crazy guy

Man that is gonna be loud!!! Be sure you have enough pipe to prevent cool air getting to your valves. Cool air +hot turbine = big trouble.

Yeah all the contractors are wanting to bend him over and not even spit on it.

Your numbers on a car that light isnt anything to sneeze at. Dynoes arent that big to me anyway. I prefer timeslips. Doesnt matter if you are putting down 1000 rwhp if you cant put it down on the street.

lol. well anyhow just an update. i went down to sonics today to have a chat with seth. suprisingly the first part of the tune is gonna happen tonight. . he said if all goes well the rest of the tuning will happen tomorrow and car should be good to go. so that makes me a happy camper . there were some issues about the a/f ratio that i was concerned with and he assured me that a low 12:1 a/f is safe as long as the pinging is under control. however he did tell me that greddy emu isnt the greatest engine managment. so well see how it goes.
