You guys should come out this Sunday.
BTW, make sure when you do come out you bring a check book (they don't accept cash). You can get 5 fun runs for $5 more. They run them after the fourth heat.
There's only ~30 drive-up spots. Also, instead of meeting at Jamba Juice, you should meet in the stadium parking lot by the entrance to the auto-x side. Depending on how many people are there, they'll hand out numbers in order of who showed up first.
Any questions just let me know. I ran every race this season and did 3 last season.

When I started last season, people were showing up at 6am for registration. There hasn't been as many drive-ups this season, so you guys should be fine (I would suggest no later than 7). As far as the runs, everyone that races gets 4 runs. If you buy the fun run card you get 5 more runs, but they don't count towards your times.
The way it's gonna work is this: there's 4 heats through out the day. You'll be assigned a heat to race and a heat to work (heats 1 and 2 are together and heats 3 and 4 are together). They usually put the novices in the 3/4 heats. As far as working, all you do (for the most part) is pick up cones or flag. Easy stuff, just make sure you got water and sunscreen (there's no shade there).

If you bring a tent, MAKE SURE IT IS WEIGHTED DOWN GOOD. I can't stress that enough. It gets VERY windy down there. My tent is damn near destroyed, and every auto-x at least one tent bites the dust.

It's mod dependent on what class you'll be in. For instance, I believe all the boosted guys will end up in my class (EM). I'd have to read through the rulebook to see about stock/bolt-on Z's.
