Default FS: Tomei Technical Trax 2way LSD

Bought this a while ago and i cant use it. Due to the fact that my rear pumpkin is an automatic and my FD is a 3.3. Im really not sure which of the one it is. I want to keep my FD so i am going to find another one that i know will fit. Its not used. 0 miles on it. All i did was press the bearings on, tried to put it in and no luck whatsoever. So there are some very minor scratches on the outside of the lsd that will not affect performance a single bit. Bought it for 850 shipped. Need the money for my upcoming project.
Price: $700.00
Includes:
LSD
Stickers
Instruction Manual/ its in Jap. i doubt youll need it.
Lmk via pm or in here.

Hey Diz man, um hate to tell you this but you may be passing on a great opprotunity. The 3.3's are useful in FI. Gives you tracktion down low and increases your top end speed.

The Tomie is a great unit that is adjustable. Factory is like 70 or 80%, dont rember off hand. Its ***** tuff too. Several D1 and street guys are using it. That peice you have there can handle any thing you throw at it.

Combine that with the 3.3 and your impending build. I think you will be kicking your self down the road. The only thing you need to do is source a 03-05 ET or higher pumpkin. Switch the pinion and ring gears from your auto pumpkin to the sourced one. You can use the stub shafts from the sourced pumpkin to fit up the diff. Sell the manual gear/pinion, pumpkin and diff to offset the price of the 03-05 pumpkin.

Do a search on the gearing. I thought I saw a recent thread addressing the ability of using the 3.3's. I'll check to see what I can find.

EDIT: Check this out

The guy seems to know what he is talking about. I may be wrong about the need for the MT pumpkin. Look it up give it a try. The unit sooo much better than an OE LSD.

Other wise bump for a great product. I think its the 2way too. Its the same box that mine came in.

Haha i never planned on swapping out my 3.3 fd. A 3.3 fd is something that would be very useful for you. I believe you are correct on me needing a MT pumpkin. I was talking to this guy who has swapped a 3.3 fd and i asked him how and he said its a bolt on affair. The thing is i didnt tell him my pumpkin is from an AT. I keep seeing your car on the side of the road when i pass down. Any updates on it. Still having fuel delivery problems? So until i find a MT pumpkin locally this unit is for sale Price drop $650

WHAT??? UM I dont know, I guess I need to bite the bullet and call sonics from here. I've tried to get an update; but nothing. Hmmmm.....

If any one swings by there can they give her a look see. Nothing out of your way, just if any one happens to be there. I'll get their number and try and call them.

haha saw your car today again. At least its still shiny. It was on their lot by the side walk. So im guessing you already ordered your hks 1000cc injectors if i remember correctly. Will you also be going with the additional inline pump and surge tank like the AAM one?

I was wanting to get the HKS but havent heard back from seth to see if I need them yet. As for the external pump, well I wasnt able to by it. My paypal account was locked becaus eI used it here in china and they locked it for suspission of fraud. It was when I bought those 06 LED tail lights.

Id like to get the pump but its a no go until I can get that account straightend out. I cant open a new one because I have an active account with my current email, but I cant do any thing from here to fix it. A vicious cycle.

Your in China. WOW must be nice to travel the globe and come home to a built Z once its finished. How many months are you actually in Hawaii out of the year. That would also explain such low milage on your Z.

For traveling, I've been traveling almost my whole life but more so after I got out of highschool. I kinda wondered into the job I have now and since then: by 21 I had been arround the world 2 time, I've currently visited 43 countries, live in china about 2 to 3 mounths out of the year, I work with US Diplomats abroad, and a whole host of other things. This all comes at a pretty hefty sacrifice though. Relationships are a joke, no one wants to be with a guy thats never there. Been divorced because of it. Before the death in my family, it was 3 years since I had seen them. I missed the birth of my neice. I havent celebrated christmas or new years in 6 years. I come home to an empty house every day. Yes traveling is great and all but it has its prices. At least I have my toy's though....

lets see in:
Between 1999 and 2004 I was away from home about 1200 days
2005 I was home about 80 days the whole year.
2006 was slower, I was home about 100 days all year.
2007 was REAL SLOW. I had PRK to fix my vision, breaking my foot, got some weird virus becuase a monkey but me (j/K), an a death in the family. I've only traveld, as of right now; about 70 days this year. I dont think I will be home until the firsts week of December. So it would be about 4 months.

It would have actualy been cheaper for me to live in a Hotel than to rent a place. I would have mad sooooo much more $$$. But they tend to frown on hauling car parts and tires through the lobby .

As for the niceity part, my traveling is the reason I can afford the work on the car. The longer Im away the more $$$ I get, but the less I drive the car . Before the new engine was broke in I just rolled 11K miles. That includes 200 miles to drive the car from Daytona (go figure Daytona Blue purchased in Daytona) the day I bought it, a 1500 mile trip the day after I bought it, 2 800 mile trips in TX, and a 400 mile trip to drop it off in Dallas to have it shipped here. So that was about 4000 miles give or take daily driving for the first month. It got here Jan 05. So 7K miles were racked up over the period of 2 years.

Its a wicked double edged sword. I guess the grass is greener huh?
