the engine is salvagable. in fact kamu actually got the motor running. i just felt that since i already ordered the parts that i might as well just go ahead and do it already. 500whp on pump gas for now and then hopefully in the summer go for the 600 once i can afford the aam maxflow pump upgrade. should be fun ;-)

I just finished lunch. Almost out just got a few more things to loosen up. Not bad for just an hour of actual work. Half of the time i was sipping on my coffee and smoking a cigg waiting for the freakin coolant to drain completely. Im surprised how long it took.

awww man you just gon done it now. Thanks for jinxing it! It is going really smoothly. I would rather drop the motor to install a twin turbo kit than trying to fish that stuff in there. I big *** hands don't help either. Okay back to work.

There are a several shops that do that. They puth the car on a frame lift and drop it out the bottom with the steering rack and engine mount in place. They install it and slap it back up in there. There is a video out there some where of it. Let me see if I can find it.

I find it easier to drop the whole frame. Took a total 3 hours to drop it. The only thing that gave it time was fishing out the damn wire harness. Other than that it was a piece of cake.
