itll cost you about 10gz for your turbo setup with everything needed for safe and reliable power. depending on who installs everything could be a little more a little less. with the extra 10gz you can either go two different directions. either build the motor. or athsteics. 1500 for paint. another couple gz for rims/tire. another for kit. some interior peices maybe. etc. or you can the directions of built motor. its all your what you want.

with 20g's you may be able to to a reliable turbo set up. but you are gonna have to get some used parts, and you will not be able to put any of the money into any supporting mods...

look at it this way...

engine build is gonna run you about 4000 bucks for parts and 2000 for install...roughly 6000 for a good enough engine
twins are gonna cost you 6000 more

thats 12000 right there

downpipes and exhaust...another 2000...

supporting mods...ie radiator, spark plugs, plenum, wastegate springs, and other stuff...another 1000 or more...

fuel system...2000

theres your 20k right there...good luck, and think and read through this forum before you decide to do anything...

i would have atleast 30-35k to do FI if your gonna...

oh yeah your gonna need an ecu too...

I agree with TheBlackPearlZ. At least $30-35k if you're going FI.

hmmm 35k seems like a bit much...

Forged Performance S1 Short Block - $3,390
Walbro 255 - $219
RC 755cc Injectors - $550
CJM FR - $980
AAM 3" Exhaust with Ti Tips - $1500
AAM Test/Dp - $900
TurboXS Utec + Map Sensor - $1000
Greddy TT w/ FMIC - $7000
Greddy BOV + Flange - $200
JWT Clutch/Flywheel - $800
HKS Headgasket - $329

=$16539 on parts tuning @ sonics is $500 so roughly sitting at $17368 that leaves almost 8k if your budget is 25k to play with. i know i forgot some things like gauges but im sure i covered all the big things

Engine Build: 4000 dollars just for parts (this is just block, not heads)
Cosworth Heads: 4000
Camshafts S7s: 1000
Greddy Twins w/ intercooler: 6000
CJM Fuel: 1000
RC 1000cc Injectors: 550
Walboro Fuel Pump: 100
Cosworth Intake Plenum: 1000
HKS F-Con with knock amp: 3100
HKS Boost Controller: 500
Turbo Timer Greddy: 100
1 Step Colder Plugs: 50
SGP Downpipes with reloc.: 900
Greddy EVO TT exhaust: 1200
Carbonetic Triple Disc Clutch: 2350
Koyo Radiator: 400
HKS DLI 2: 500

thats nearly 30k right there on things i think are essential...sure you can do without the DLI2 and the heads...but thats only 5k combined...i have also spent money on parts that are necessary that isnt a lot but it adds up like two 40 dollar exhaust flanges, and hoses. also this 30k does not include installation.

if youw ant to go fast you might as well do it right. so if you think you can get by with 17 grand then go for it. but i know what i spent my money on and its well over 30k

and this also does not include supporting mods that i also find are necessary like atleast sways and some springs if not coils. along with wider wheels to grip better.

btw you also forgot to mention installation prices...sure you can get a tune for 550, but if your really gonna trust yourself to do machine work and install the parts on a block without knowledge?? i almost made that mistake...posted a thread and was persuaded against it...

installation pricing on all that stuff is a BITC*

machine work is included in the forged performance s1 block. like i said you have an extra 7k to play around with given your budget is 25k. i honestly wouldnt do the install on most of the stuff. its a big risk you take. i just am truly privlaged to have a friend like kamu. ive learned a hell of alot about motors within this 3 months that the car has been down putting the motor back together.
