thanks man. haha i looked at your profile and saw that you were reading the thread and i was just waiting around here. but it looks really interesting and might save me some money on having to retune the car for california by just getting it tuned in hawaii and make small adjustments for the 91 octane using the data from this program. would be pretty cool too if you could hook it up to display on a screen other than a laptop.

Im looking for my AEM EUGO instalation guide. I think what they are refering to is taking either the lambda line or a serial feed out of the guage and runnin it to the UTEC to log the AFR's.

With the new HUD program you can log real time and view real time. I have seen this software for a while but havnt had a chance to play with it on the car.

OH... one thing you want to look at is well is UTEC has an excel spreadsheet that you use for temp compensation factors. There is a feature in the UTEC for a compensation factor for winter driving that allows you to keep your same tune as summer driving but with a correction factor.

Still looking into this further, been busy lately.

from what i understand about the program its there to act as a bridge between utec and wideband. im pretty sure it was the serial feed. the problem is with the change in octane/additives. hawaii: 92 w/ 10% ethonal i think cali is just straight 91 octane. but just whenever you get time. just curious about this and think it would be cool just to see logs.

whether its E10 or E85 the RON rating is the same. 92 is 92, 91 is 91. You need to get a tune for the 91 to optimize your power, but for only 1 point its not too much diffrence if your tune is conservative and you dont have too much timing pulled.
