I see you got left hanging on this issue. Either the guys don't know or just got used to the CEL being on all time; hopefully this will help everybody who has the CEL 02 sensor issue. I was determined that my CEL was never coming on, I never saw it before and wasn't now...and it didn't. I got the eliminators installed on my test pipes with tune and the CEL never came on. Here is where I got mine from. Of course the auction has ended but you contact the vendor for a new set or a new search. My CEL light never came on after installation, it worked for me. You will need two.

yeah, just google the "O2 sensor simulators". They got the electronic ones that go for about $40 for the pair, or the mechanical ones that go for about $9 each on ebay without shipping. I think i would personally go with mechanical ones. Cheaper and should last a lot longer. You can choose between the angled ones(about $25), and the short straight ones(about $9).

They have the anit fowlers on several sale sites. The whole principle behind them is simple, they pull the O2 Sensor out of the exhaust flow only reading a fraction of what is seen. The bad thing about the Anti fowlers and the electonic simulators is that your car cannot adjust for realtime conditions and you loose some top end power.

With the right EMS and tune you wont get a CEL. Several people with the UTEC are running Turbo's, testpipes, and upgraded fuel systems and have eliminated the CEL with out the need of simulators or Anti Fowlers. Personaly I would do the tune first. But thats me.

Since you running just an exhaust, oem EMS, and no FI. uhh...probably no need for a tune like BIG PUN. You may want to stick to the simulators for easy fix . Good advice from all....and of course the man, the myth....BIG PUN
