I craigslisted my 2008 Yamaha R6 almost two months ago and I haven't gotten any hits...it only has 270 miles on it, never been downed, black on black...asking 11,500...is anyone interested or know of anyone who's interested?? Poor thing needs to get back on the road with someone!! Let me know!

wow! i am selling my 2008 r1 black on black with 981 miles for $9500. i will ask around, but i am having a hard time selling my bike as is already.

 

yeah my roomate got his brand new for like 9500 (an 07 r6)

 

ack...i know...i paid 12 for it, so i'm trying to make back what i paid, since it's barely been driven...i'd take best offer, if i can get the payoff...

Wow, Good Luck with the sale. IMO that's a bit much. I could pick up an brand new 08 R6 from Pflueger or Domenicos for MSRP (Under $10k) OTD. But then again, I know and raced people there.

yeah, i didn't know anyone when i picked it up...sucks for tiffy!! lol!!

 

Once you drive off the lot you automatically loose a few grand. Esp if you paid over msrp. You can walk into the dealer and get a 09 for less than 10 if you got the cash. The dealer can also push financing through. Pretty much its impossible to sell a brand new bike without taking a substantial loss on it unless you bought the bike for a super low price.

yeah... youre supposed to drive it at least once a week. if not, the tires start to get messed up...especially the rear one.

 

if i knew how to ride the poor thing, i don't think i'd be selling it...scratch that...i KNOW i wouldn't sell it...i'm too jealous of people that CAN ride...i hate knowin' she's just sittin' out there and i can't do anything about it. justin's the one that was takin' her up the street every week, but now he's deployed...effin' dilemas, i tell ya'...
