Well I am missing Hawaii, I may have been harassed a lot by HPD how ever I'd rather pay a fine then fix my car back to stock Check this story out.....

SO last night I left my place in the Springs to go get some ice cream... as I pulled into the plaza a State Trooper pulled in behind me with his lights on. Told me that he needs to tow my Z cause its not street legal. He gave me a tool to take all the tint off, but then also informed me that I cant modify my exhaust, lower my car and or do ANY modifications to my Z at all by Colorado State law. The tint I understand cause mine is 2% HOWEVER I am not even registered in Colorado, my car is registered in Hawaii so how can they enforce state laws on my Z? Anyway I have a court date now in August and a fix it ticket for my entire car. Can anyone help me out with this, I am very sad to have to redo my car now after spending so much time and putting so much work into it

Ouch! sorry to hear that, but if you really love your car and truly have to stay in Colorado, get a lawyer! IMHO

from what i've heard...they cant enforce their laws to a car thats not registered to their state. except the tint....thats all i know

 

Yea, thats what all the statues say "Colorado Registered" sooo we'll see, def going to fight it tho, thats the first my car has been pulled over out here. Good to hear from you Peter! Sorry to hear about the cops down in Colorado. If everything goes well with winning your case, you should press charges on that cop for any damages made to your Z.
