sooo yea.........just wondering if anyone who's prior boosted and built on the island could chime in on this. Since its nearly impossible to get in contact with Sean, how much do you guys think it would cost for a TT install, clutch/flywheel install, full suspension underbody install, and brake install cost? Pretty much the only thing stock would be the outside body panels....wait...thats changing to....anyways, i'm looking for a rough draft so I can separate it into a no-spend-must-save-for-install-only fund

 

just install? maybe 5-6g depending on the quality... now if you still have to get the parts, that's another story.

 

Sounds like you can save a lot of money by doing it yourself. Maybe a VQ Inc get together, an install day/weekend.

Talked to Sean about the Vortech install and he is just so busy with all the cars sticking out of his garage. I am also talking to guys from STS 808 that are know for work. I will hit up Sonics, but so far most places that I been to and talked to about work have been referring Sean as my tuner of choice. It might be a while before this goes on, but I wont give up till I get this installed and tuned.

Yeah, I been taking my time with this setup buying the parts needed. I called STS 808 today and got them to work on my car next week and Sean from Munkey Wurks to Tune next Friday. Both shops know how to do things right and I was able to work a deal to get things done for both of them. Dropping by STS 808 tomorrow to go over set up and order what is needed and schedule the drop off, transfer to Munkey Wurks and Tune with Sean. Trying to have the car back by next weekend.

 

Don't hold on too tight to those projected times...

Smitty from STS 808 is pretty good and so is chad. I had them completely dismantle my underbody for the installation of braces, bushings, mounts, and etc. They were really helpful and smitty always returned my calls/texts. Even stayed open late when I thought my suspension height was uneven. But if I had to choose.....SEAN FTW
