Alright, so a friend of mine has always had a dream of being a photographer...I don't know jack about cameras...so my question is for someone wanting to get into this and I believe she knows a moderate amount about cameras already what would be a kick *** camera?

My advice
Get a entry level dSLR, so she can learn about manual settings, nothing pricey and no fancy lenses.
In short the camera really doesnt mean much, she should study composition, more then worrying about a expensive camera

 

photography is barely an art form anymore... camera quality nowadays superb and practically anybody with minimal knowlege can take great pics.

 

I disagree, you seen is too many car pictures, anyone can do that without skill.
The real skill is people and their composition

Anyways I agree all cameras are rather good, and have the ability to take great photos

 

I want something she can do some really good **** with tho...She was eying a camera with a huge lens NO CLUE what it was tho...gotta do more digging prolly haha
