Default New lense for SLR Camera... Ever shopped here?

So I found this sick deal on a lens for my SLR Camera. I do not like shopping online, but I found this place that has an awsome deal for the lens I want. I wanted to see if anyone has shopped here?

Best Buy has it for $584.

I dont know of the website, the only good one is www.bhphotovideo.com

I think its safe to assume the lens is gray market, hence its price. I would guess the 1 year warranty is not though Canon, they dont service gray market lenes.
Gray market to me is no big deal to me, it a good way to save money, the only problem is trying to find a legit and trustworthy gray market dealer.

297 Compaints with the BBB in the last 12 months.

$409 at Beach Camera. I use them a lot and have had no issues: http://www.beachcamera.com/shop/prod...u=CN28135USMIS

PS. AWESOME lens.

Looks like one of many scam companies that pull a bait and switch. Once you place your order, you get a response back saying you need to call to complete the order. They push other stuff on you and when you say no, suddenly the item is not in stock...

Here's a place that have always had great reviews and excellent service...

www.adorama.com

Whenever you come across a website like that, google the web address and see what comes up. A lot of these companies are already on file with the better business bureau...

I see complaints for BH Photo Video too.
Have you ordered through them before?

BH is an awesome site as well. 10 Complaints with BBB in the past year really isn't much, considering how many sale order they probably have.
I just like Beach because they tend to be slightly cheaper than BH. I ordered my XTi from Beachg and had it overnighted to Vegas from NJ. No complaints here.

Thanks. I appreciate all your advice. I might just have to order the camera lens through B&H.

Adorama is one of the best places to shop online, never ever had a problem with them.

Also, Tri-State Camera.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! my co-worker order an HD camcorder from them and never heard back from them, so he called to ask about the status and they initiated some high pressure upselling on parts that should be included in the box. they told them the battery, charger, carrying bag, etc is not included. he told him no on all stuff they tried to sell them and they put him on hold for a couple mins and then the call just dropped.

the way these kind of places do buisness is they sell items for dirt cheap and won't process your orders until they call you or you call them first to question about the order, and when you're on the phone with them, they start aggressive upselling on accessories and if you refuse all the accessories, your order doesnt go through with whatever excuse they may make up. so yeah, only buy from adorama or bhphotovideo, those are the only legit places. if you notice, mostly all photo/video online stores are located in the east coast (NY, NJ) for some reason...why? im not too sure myself.

All the time, I got close to $150K in total purchased equipment from them.
I meet the owners at their huge store in NY, very nice.
Unlike most of these online store, B&H has a real retail store that is huge and stocks everything you can dream of.

I bet the complaints are from people, that didnt read correctly, or have no idea what they really bought.
