Any interest in a small tutorial on street photography?
I was browsing some thread on here, and was surprise by the interest in cameras.
Obviously theres a strong presence of car pictures, but was wondering if anyone would like to extend their skills into something more challenging and much more rewarding.
Street photography is basically up close, very personal pictures of strangers in public. And even semi portrait photos in street environments.
I done work for National Geographics, Discovery, CNN, and several foreign agencies. I cant claim to be a great photographer but what am good at is getting deep into the crowds and take pictures of strangers with no objections.
What you could learn can easily be transfered to every aspect of photography
Anyways am doing a huge article for a magazine over this, that will be completed in November when I return from Japan.
However I can also do a condensed version with friendlier terms, it'll take a bit of effort, so I'll only consider if there is enough interest.
It'll be a --what to do, what not to do, how to do, what to use, what not to use.
How to blend in the crowd, and take photos with people aware of you doing so, but without them reacting to it. How to find compositions and incredible one in a life time poses. Best of all you dont need fancy and large cameras, I used everything from full frame cameras, small dslr, rangefinders, and point and shoots
My server has been acting up for a while now and I haven't examples to post.
So I stoled a few from other members of a camera website I visited to give a rough semi-idea as to what am referring to.

Cool, it'll be awhile (late november)since the magazine has priority and am still working on the article.
Then factor in time to condense and make a friendly, quicker to read verison for this site and another site am going to do one for.
Although I may do a very short prelude to it by the end of the week, to help people prepare how to take photos in a street environment and later do a more proper one after the magazine.
I would be curious to see some first attempts from you guys
Just wanted to gauge interest before I made the effort-- so with this site and another. I'll be sure to do it

Nice, the thing I like about street photos/street people photos is that you might not know who they are but in your mind you can kind of come up with your own story on them. Really interesting and intriguing photos!
