What camera/carry bag is everybody using?

I'm looking for a messenger style bag to carry my camera with 1 extra lense.

I'm going to sydney the first week of november and i want to bring my camera gear, but also dont want to be lugging it around the city.

i may end up just bringing a point and shoot.

When I travel light, I use a Tamrac Velocity 8; it is just large enough to hold my 1D MKII with a 70-200 f/2.8L IS attached (lens hood reversed), plus a flash and 1 lens, plus smaller accessories in the pouches.

 

I just use a cheap Canon bag from B&H. But I'm looking into upgrading to getting a more rugged travel bag.
