look around here. you might find some cheaper deals, only one lens but the money you save can be put towards another lens, probably better than the one that comes in the kit you pointed out.

I don't think that is a great deal. If you check BH Photo, I think you can get the same parts separately for cheaper. I would also save up for a telephoto lens with the image stabilization unless you have a steady hand.

 

amazon had it for like 650 w/ a warranty and this ebay guy had it goin for 580...
