Photomatix Pro is what I use. And touch up in CS4

And I cant check since its done already. I took about 8 photos and only picked a few to actually use, so like I said between 3 and 6.

Used 5 shots. I think the pictures turn out the best that way.

Photomatix Pro to process and Adobe Lightroom 2 for post processing.

I start out in Photomatix usually trying to keep my strength/color saturation between 75-90, luminosity 0, light smoothing the highest setting, micro contrast between 6-8, and then mess with white point, black point and gamma until you get the look you desire. Then edit in Lightroom and mess with the temp, recovery, fill light, blacks and clarity, change up the tone curve options (highlights, lights, darks, shadows) as I see necessary, mess with the hue of different colors that I want to bring out or get rid of, sometimes mess with lens vignetting and finally adjust the camera calibration sliders for the RGB color hue and saturation Hope that helps some of you.

Thanks for this, Would u mind uploading your presets? Would help greatly

I just did your settings and got the same image, very nice. One question though, why do i get so much noise within photomatix? is there anyway to smooth it out Pre-PS4?

HDR imaging creates noise no matter what. Usually from what Ive seen, increasing the black level will eliminate some. But noise is just a factor with HDR. Do you see noise in my image?

And I dont have any presets like I said, I just adjust to what looks good to me. Every image is different so the adjustments must be made.

Here's my go at it, not sure if it will be you're style or not. HDR in Photomatix, Post-processing in Lightroom, adjusted perspective in Photoshop CS4.

why don't someone shoot a pic with multiple exposure (5 to 7), and post em up here for everyone to have a go with their touch up/HDR/photoshop/photomatix skills??

this could really benefit whoever is interested (including me).

just a suggestion.

--------------------

TheOtherRob, i love your pics!!. any chance to get them Hi-Res?? especially the first 1 (black Z). i just love it!

Very nice man. I like this one a lot better than the others you have posted. Has a more natural/non-dark look to it.
