Just my opinion and I'm not sure if it's going to help: The shots need some more detail among the trees. It's just a black void, and kinda takes away from the pics. The biggest problem being, I like colors in the pics now and I'm afraid you'd take away from that by altering the lighting to brighten the trees.

they are nice, pretty well framed, and i like the colors. i agree with the above coment that the trees lack definition. they are also a bit bland, IMHO. i also think the birds are a distraction from (what i believe should be) the subject of the pictures, they just kind of seem like visual noise on the images seeing as how they are pretty indistinguishable forms.

im not trying to slam them, like i said, they are nice pics, just my critiques

Imo, too much water in the shot and as pointed out above, not enough treeline definition. Otherwise, not too shabby.

I can see where you're all coming from. My main subject was the birds (in some pics) next time I'll have to focus in more so on them.
