30 seconds for the starts and 30 seconds for the car , then merged the two images together. Although for my focal length I believe I should have gone with 25 seconds for the stars since I got a slight bit of streaking.

Print-worthy picture thread. post a pic your proud of.
Ok so I didnt notice any general thread of pictures people are proud of so I thought it might be a good idea even if this area of the forum doesnt get that much attention. Anyways if this works out people can add what camera they use and what lens and settings if they can remember.. I'll share a few I thought came out pretty print worthy..
I use an Olympus e510 some of those were from the e410 I have lots of lenses so I cant remember what was used. All were touched up in olympus master and this post came from my phone so I dont know how well the files transferred. I haven't been taking pictures like I used too but I take the gear out once in a while to try and capture something worthy of a frame.

Not sure if "print worthy" but the subject matter is near and dear to me.
Sunrise at Haleakala, 10,023' above sea level. Maui, Hawaii.
Just started shooting with a DSLR... so much I'd forgotten about shooting from way back in my film days and still learning how to work all the functions.
Great thread and some great photos, dboyzalter!
Sub'd for something other than car stuff....

Thank you thank you... Best thing about the dslr is the amount of photos you can store and throw away. I sware for every 1 `good` image I have hundreds that didnt make the grade.
The thing that sucks is just like everything else they come up with something better the day after you shell out $$ im pretty happy with my aged system though.
Here is my tric picture I tell everyone this tunnel gets really cold when you walk through it and this is what happens when you take a picture.
