I also just sold my 135L and Sigma 85 to pick up the 70-200 f/2.8L IS mkii which will be a great workhorse in the studio and shooting some action up on Mt. Hood this winter. Goodbye shots of the 85 taken with the 135

Sometimes my daughter loves taking pictures.

Other times she's in her own world.

I'm applying for a villain loan. I go by Vector. It's a mathematical term, represented by an arrow with both direction and magnitude.
Vector! That's me, cause I commit crimes with both direction and magnitude. Oh yeah!

Stu's 100% right. Had my Einstein with socked BD above and silver reflector below and my ABR800 with reflector directly behind her to blow out the wall and separate her enough to change the bg in post.

^ Nice, really like the second one. So I'm a prime guy through and through but it began to feel a bit limiting in my home studio so I sold my 85 and beloved 135L and picked up a brand spanking new 70-200 f/2.8L IS mkii. I had owned the f/4L IS previously and loved it but this is a whole different beast of a lens.

I was a little worried that it would fail to live up to the hype but I'm glad to say I'm completely wrong. It's tack sharp wide open and has lightning fast and accurate AF not to mention I can hand hold a sharp shot at 1/20th and 200mm thanks to the new and improved 4 stop IS. Everything else is top notch too from the build quality to the color rendition, bokeh and microcontrast. I'm definitely very happy with my purchase and can't wait to do a real full shoot with it. Here's a few test shots. Sorry but it's been crappy weather here the last week in the PNW.
