the last photo is a little wierd. i think i know what youre trying to achieve but there's just not enough hood in there. the camera's meter was also going off the background so it underexposed to hood making it just looking like left over metal.

Yea sabino canyon, Thanks for all the advice. It was just our digital camera. Nothing to fancy, I don't really know what I'm doin either, although it is fun and would like to get better at it.
