I spent $106 for two. I've got about $135 in other materials for this rig as well. I didn't need to spend quite that much, but I'm a poor planner.

I also just ordered three industrial magnets that I'll use to build a different kind of under car rig so I can shoot higher angle shots.
very interested in that one. never seen this one. please let me know when you do make this.. maybe ill copy your rig
ive seen this one before.. but the cups are kinda expensive. and angles are limited.

Just as an FYI to anyone, this place has the lowest prices I've found for the suction cups, its where I got mine from:

http://www.mytoolstore.com/woods/mounts.html

I have an under car rig right now but I'm switching to suction cups, 1st of all magnets don't hold for beans, not on the cars I shoot anyway, and most are way to low to do that. For now I use a clamp system where I clamp the rig under the car, so i dont have to worry about rubber undercoatings or any of that stuff. I wouldn't trust my camera to magnets at all.

another tip is to take the shot, then take the shot from the same position minus the rig, it makes the post processing time a lot less on shots where there is a lot to take out.
