Yes, another one of them "post your" threads...
Was dying to scratch an itch I've had for the longest... wanting to try the misty water effect on the rocky shoreline pictures that you probably have seen tons of times.
Will have to go back to refine some stuff...
The Best one... out of over 150 shots. All shots taken with Canon 40D with Sigma 10-20mm with 3 stop Neutral Density Filter (damn filter costs as much as some lenses).

The rest of the ones that came out pretty good.




Wish I had my 55-250 for these shots...

It's all about metering for any shot... but other folks who are reading this and beginning, yes, meter your shots with the sun in frame without the sun in the frame... or meter without the sun in the viewer, then recompose... or else the metering will be off, and the pic will be too dark, cause the camera's metering is going to compensate for the bright sun and darken the overall pic.
Of course with digital you can simply check the histogram. The sun will spike the right side but the rest of the historgram should be in the middle or slightly to the left.
