Default Got a new cam 7.2 Sony DSC-W55, pics of my Z

Sorta did the HDR thing while keeping them looking real.

Whatcha think? I need to get one of those cable things that allow me to take the photo from it w/out touching the cam so it doesn't move to make my HDR shots look better.

I would have put the money toward some new rims instead of a new camera...

The cable thing you speak of to hold your camera still, is called a tripod. They're pretty cheap and well worth it.

Yeah...why? To join the 95% of other members on this site that don't use their $3K wheels for what their intended use is? I forgot...it's all about the looks, right? Then again I actually am gonna be tracking this car soon, just to learn how to autoX.

All I'm saying is ASA is not a bad brand...especially when licensed by BBS. And when I think there are other areas that money can be more smartly spent, I'm gonna do that first.

New wheels can come on down the road, for now I'm happy.

But I was wondering how long it'd take for the wheel ****'s to get into thread. Amazing...first reply even, and not even a compliment on the photo itself.

Besides what would $130 buy me? That wouldn't even cover the shipping probably.

To the others, thank you.

ETA: Quaker, I've already got the tripod...it's the cable that I want/need as in it looks like a cable/wire and has a button on it to snap the pics so you don't have to touch the camera. :P

Huh?? My 3k wheels aren't being used as intended? I intended to use them to drive with and I do so...

Oh you meant by actually using lightweight wheels for racing?? Oh but you aren't even racing yet yourself? So you're doing the same thing with your wheels as we are.

as expected, all but one or two of the replies have been cvntface comments...oh well...looks pretty good for a point and shoot...and those wheels aren't the greatest ever, but for the price, they work very well on a Z imo...people live to tear you down on a national forum, so don't take it personal

Since when is AutoX considered tracking the car?

Track my wheels monthly douche, so do 95% of the others who dump thousands into their wheels. Take the opinion like a man or don't post pictures.

lol....funny how quick you are to slam a new guy. BTW my other car is a '69 Mustang...but that's probably not good enough for ya either, right?

And to the member above...since when is auto crossing not considered racing/tracking?

Geez there's a lot of high flying egos in this thread.

I'm happy w/ my car so far...that's all that matters, just thought you guys would enjoy some pics. But since it doesn't have Volks, Works, RO JA's, or Rays....it's not worthy to post even.

Does that mean that you all didn't get slammed when you were a new guy to the Z and didn't have Volks or the likes?

Way to encourage more ppl to join...

I don't care about criticism...but being an assbag just b/c I don't have a certain brand isn't warranted. Then again...this is the internet...where ppl 4'10" 100lbs can act like tough guys. Oops, my bad.

Seriously I work at a federal prison and since I'm one of about 10 white ppl in a 95% black workforce in that prison, along w/ mainly non white inmates, I've heard it all due to my race. So whatever makes your e-***** feel bigger buddy...

To those that aren't being dumbasses in this thread...thank you.

Not exactly...I spent $600 shipped on my wheels and don't track them yet. They do everything your 2-3K dollar wheels do at this point in time except garner "ooh look at me" threads.

Nice car. I dont think the wheels are that bad. Definitely good for the price you paid. Aside from that, as long as you are happy with your camera/car then cool.

We should all get along...but i forgot it IS the internet....serious business.

They sure do, except I track my car. I have less rotational mass than you do on my drivetrain because I decided not to be cheap on one of the parts of the car I think matters the most. I don't really see why I'm wasting my time talking about this to someone that doesn't even track his car. Maybe if you would have used some tact in your reply to what Ruthless said people would have come at you differently. If you were to have shrugged it off and said thank you anyways this is what I could afford and I can't justify spending 4k on wheels than I would have probably come at you with a positive comment. Ooo look at me threads? Isn't that what you just did? Please try and use some wit and think of some new ideas on how to retaliate besides what everyone else before you has said.

If that isn't an indication of you and some other members and your reputation on this site, I'm not sure what is. Grow up.

since the car is jsut about 5 years old now, everyone is jaded when they see wheels that are not up to the volk/work standard.

I totally agree with that. The worst thing i can think of on a expensive car like the G/Z is cheap wheels. most of the time the stock wheels look better than most "lower level" wheels (and i say this loosely).

If you really want to set off your car lower and get your tire to sit right flush with the fender that will make any wheel even cheaper ones look good.
but then you will still have someone nagging about get better wheels.

you can pick up a set of used volks for low 2ks.... i think that is worth it for a 30k car?

You come on this site and you insult "95%" of the people on it .. Then, you brag about how you AutoX/Track your car.. but then you don't even know the difference between tracking your car and autoX

Then you don't stand by your word and edit your post to remove any thing offending..

What kind of response did you expect????
