Default first time panning, c&c please

this was my first time panning, so please be kind w/ comments. i had a horrible vantage point so you'll see the fence in all the pictures. i was also at the far end of my lens (w/ a 1.4x TC)so you'll notice a little shake in the pictures (i wish i could spring for that IS). pictures were auto-leveled and some were auto-exposed. out of about 40 or so shots, there were literally the best of the bunch .

pretty good all things considered. I wonder if the camera would focus abit better if the fence wasn't in the way.

If you decrease the aperature and MF on where the car should be, you can eliminate the fence from the pictures. And if the focus was better it seems like you'd have some very nice panning shots. at 200mm i'd even try shooting a little faster (based on the first pics exif showing 1/32nd).

hndumafia, i'll give that a shot next time. i had the camera set on shutter priority to try and get a feel for it. next time i'll give full manual a go. it was actually further than 200mm since i also had a 1.4tc attached.
