thanks, oh and these were all taken with a Canon EOS 40D w/ 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens, 580ex flash, and a circular polarization filter

i really like this set. your eye is getting better and better. such nice colors!!

what's the highest resolution you can print these in? i am thinking about maybe getting some of them from you for some artwork ( #5, 9, and 10)

I don't remember the exact resolution, but they like 100 times better printed than they do on the computer

The big thing about printing is to keep in mind the ideal viewing distance for stuff. I don't see why you couldn't print any of those pictures at 24x36 if you put them on the wall and didn't stand a foot away to look that them.

They are great shots.

well...typically if you print something big you don't look at it from the same distance as if it was a 3x5 picture...200 dpi from 10 MP (not sure what your camera is, but just as an example) would give you an image about 12 x 18. That would be a pretty clear image. A friend of mine did this one:

at about that size (or maybe 15x20) and has it on her office wall, it looks amazing from 3 or 4 feet. With enlargements viewing distance is important too.

And yes, my original comment was meant as a compliment, they are all great shots.

Okay I get you now, some, but not all I will enlarge. I generally get 8x10s and 11x14s printed up. But I have a select few that I'm going to produce large.

#8 was a finalist in the photo comp out of a couple hundred, but didnt win
