How TYC does his RIG SHOTS!
Thanks for sharing the tips. Some amazing pictures.
I did not make a rig, but this got me thinking of using one of my suction mounts that I use for my camcorders, and mount my D90 on it.
Need to try different settings and mounting points, but I think it has potential.

Gotcha. Yea, those are actually rolling shots, not rig shots. But I know what you're trying to say.
First of all, thanks to TYC for sharing the tips. I have been wanting to do this for a long time, but could not quite visualize what I needed.
Ok, so I went out there, got the materials, built the rig and did some tests... this is one of the shots I took last night.
Lighting sucks, I know, I am working on it
. Yeah, I need a drop too, working on it as well
. And the car is in dire need of a nice deep detailing session... need to get an appointment at the bodyshop to get that done!
But anyway, here it is. Comments/suggestions are all appreciated:

Thx!
I got set back by roughly $300... worth every cent as this is a lot of fun!
I think that the most variable cost will be the pole. I got mine for the cost of the aluminum tube/bar, a friend worked the thing out for free.

Carlos, easy on the contrast bro. I cant see the most of the front tire at all. The blacks are very dark....other then that, just more cloning out minor things and you're good.
) and see how that comes along.I contacted my friend yesterday to ask him to get me another section of tube done... I think I will need it for certain shots.
Thx! Not really... I am just coming back to get more pics of the Z, as I was kind of occupied with other stuff.
But check out this link to see some old and not so old shots:
