Default Lo-Ducks

“Well, you know the ducks that swim around in it? In the springtime and all? Do you happen to know where they go in the wintertime by any chance? … I mean, does someone come around in a truck or something and take them away, or do they fly away by themselves–go south or something?” -Holden Caulfield

Yep... more vacation pics... ducks on the pond via Scottsdale AZ. Went fishing with my younger brother, but mostly had the camera in hand.

Lucky to catch this... now I know about being prepared for the shot... anticipation and luck converging....

Great pictures! Wish I was more skilled in photography. I suppose you also need an expensive camera to have these results though.

No, you actually don't... it just makes it easier.

Yep, el cheapo 55-250... love the lens. I'm going to get the 70-200 f/4 IS soon, and I'll be keeping the 55-250 as it's small and compact, and perfect for travel.

Hmmmmm.... you just just haven't noticed that I do take pictures other than of my car...

Here's some of my non-auto shots... as you can see in the old shots, my post-processing sucked. Looking at them, I'm tempted to reprocess them...

i ment what i said in a very complimenting way, not as critism. most people have their strong points and their weaknesses. but you are very well rounded and talented in everything you shoot

Oh yeah, you stated that clearly in your previous post. There was no sarcasm on my part. We cool... we cool. I took no offense whatsoever. In fact, I know I take way too many pics of my car.

I appreciate the compliments..

What's funny is that I don't have pets or children... so I shoot my car.

That's why I had such a blast with the camera on vacation...

You're no slouch also...

Wow, absolutely amazing photos. So beautiful.

If only I could get these in 1680x1050. Background images.
