Default Batch Watermarking?

Okay, is there a program that can batch watermark without having to upload them to a website or something? If I plan on watermarking a couple hundred shots I don't want to spend 3 hours in photoshop doing it. So does anybody have an recommendations or ideas

You could build an action in photoshop that could do it pretty rapidly.

What type of watermark? Lightroom will add a simple one when you export.

Always use copies when testing:
Pre Work:
Make sig file. Pref in PNG with a clear background. Make sure it is the correct size you want.
Open Pic and Sig File
Have Pic Selected
Action:
New Folder
New Action
Select Sig File
Copy
Select Pic
Paste
Position Sig onto Pic
Adjust image size if necessary
Merge Layers
Save
Close
End Action (Stop)
Test to make sure it works on another pic

If all goes well, you can run it in batch. Make two versions of the action. One for Horizontal Pics, one for Vertical Pics. Seperate the pics you want to add the sig to by vertical and horizontal (the pics should all be the same dimensions when seperating). Run it in batch.

iWatermark..... that's what I use for batch watermarking, if you're too lazy to build an automated action...

Don't you have to have lightroom to run batches? I only have CS2

It's under file. I can't remember exactly what it's called and I am at work.
